Fruity sorbets to go

Sorbet is the refreshing superstar of hot summer days and a great alternative to homemade ice cream! The combination of fresh fruit, water, a splash of lemon and sweetener creates a light and invigorating taste experience. Whether it’s raspberries, mango or lime, there are countless delicious sorbet creations to discover. This is where you can really let your imagination run wild and create your own variations. The possibilities are endless, and the best part is that you know exactly what’s in it – no artificial additives or hidden ingredients.

For the basic sorbet recipe, you’ll need:

  • 200 ml water
  • 60 ml maple syrup or agave nectar
  • 60 g sugar
  • About 200 grams of fruit of your choice (e.g., strawberries, lemons, raspberries, mango, etc.)

Here’s how to make sorbet:

  1. Start by chopping your fruit (squeeze the lemons for lemon sorbet) and blend it well.
  2. Put the blended fruit in a pot and cook it with water, maple syrup/agave nectar, and sugar until the sugar is completely dissolved. Then, let the mixture cool completely.
  3. Pour the mixture into a freezer-safe container.
  4. Let your sorbet freeze in the freezer for about 5 hours, but be sure to stir vigorously every hour to prevent large ice crystals from forming.
  5. So, grab your mixer and get started! With vegan sorbet, you can not only pamper yourself but also delight your friends and family. You can enjoy these delicious creations without feeling guilty.

Creating cooling snacks
