With our Esbit solid fuel, you can effectively boil water or food on the go. This is because the fuel in tablet form consists of a special mixture of mainly methenamine & wax and has a high calorific value.

Whether on long hikes or camping trips where every gram counts, Esbit solid fuel is the right choice. Its light weight, compact size and easy handling make it ideal for such trips. It is particularly practical: solid fuel also works reliably in sub-zero temperatures and at higher altitudes.

Esbit is available in different tablet sizes (4 g, 5 g, 14 g, 27 g). Depending on the tablet size, the burning time is approx. 5 - 15 minutes. It can also be lit quickly and easily using matches or a lighter, for example. If necessary, you can add a solid fuel tablet to the Esbit stove if you want to extend the cooking time.

Esbit solid fuel is also ideal for heating water on the move, for example for trekking meals. It is also a good choice for tactical applications such as bushcraft. This is because it burns quietly and produces no visible smoke. Thanks to its durability and reliability, it is also an important component of survival equipment or emergency backpacks, for example. It also serves as a firelighter.
