Management Assistant for Wholesale and Foreign Trade Management (m/f/d)

Esbit Compagnie GmbH is an owner-managed family business in its third generation. Under the internationally renowned traditional Esbit brand, quality products for preparing, storing and consuming food and drinks on the go are manufactured and sold in Germany, Europe and over 30 countries worldwide. Starting with the product classics - solid fuel and pocket stoves - Esbit is an established supplier in the outdoor market with its wide range of products.

In addition to the outdoor range, Esbit also manufactures specific components for emergency kits and ration packs for the so-called "project business". This relates to deliveries to humanitarian organizations such as NGOs or state aid and government organizations. The individual parts are put together individually to meet the requirements of the respective order.

Job description:

Join the team in Hamburg! We are looking for a commercial employee for versatile and project-related tasks in full-time and permanent employment as soon as possible.

  • You will be the first point of contact for national and international customer inquiries, service providers and suppliers.
  • You will submit individual offers, follow them up and be responsible for order entry and control.
  • You will be responsible for the follow-up management of incoming inquiries and supply contracts.
  • in day-to-day business, you will manage your own customer base after comprehensive training and will be responsible for planning, purchasing, logistics and order management as well as customer/supplier communication.

Requirements profile:

  • You have successfully completed training as a wholesale and foreign trade merchant or have a comparable qualification.
  • You have at least 2-3 years of relevant professional experience in the above-mentioned fields (internal project business, foreign trade, order processing and customer service, etc.).
  • You are characterized by a strong customer and service orientation as well as a high level of commitment.
  • You work in a structured manner and maintain an overview even in complex situationsAn experienced handling of MS Office, especially very good Excel skills are part of your portfolio - ideally you also have experience in dealing with Microsoft Dynamics 365 / Navision.
  • You think in a solution-oriented way and are characterized by a high degree of flexibility and pragmatism (hands-on mentality).
  • you convince with an open and positive manner, are a team player.
  • you speak fluent German and English.

With drinking bottles and thermal containers, the company also offers high-quality products for everyday use. We are looking for a B2C Shop & Online Communications Manager as soon as possible.

Job description:

  • You will support the development and expansion of our new 2C online store with the Shopify store system and actively shape the external image of our brand.
  • You will optimize processes with regard to UX and support the development of the “Go-To-Market” strategy of the online store.
  • You analyze our online store and carry out conversion optimizations.
  • You plan and implement CRM activities to acquire new customers and reactivate existing customers.
  • You continuously create new content for the website, taking SEO principles into account.
  • You develop a social media strategy that contributes to the goals set in connection with the store and implement it in cooperation with the team. You will plan and support paid campaigns on our social media channels - including in collaboration with multipliers.
  • You will brief and manage external service providers such as photographers or graphic agencies for content creation.
  • You will always keep an eye on your goals and track your successes using content and channel-specific KPIs.

Requirements profile:

  • You have successfully completed your studies with a focus on online marketing or business administration or have an equivalent education.
  • You have at least 4 years of professional experience in the field of e-commerce and/or marketing and have already gained extensive experience with the Shopify store system.
  • You know what is important in search engine optimization and think SEO directly with new content.
  • You are passionate about social media and online communication. You know all formats inside out and know how the different platforms work.
  • You have a good knowledge of common applications of social media platforms for setting up campaigns, monitoring and reporting.
  • Writing texts in German and English is easy for you.
  • You are a team player and convince with your open and positive manner.
  • You work strategically and goal-oriented.
  • You have an eye for detail and work in a very structured way.
  • Ideally, you already have experience with Photoshop and other Adobe Cloud applications.
