Information pursuant to the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LkSG)
Pursuant to Section 1 of the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (Lieferkettensorgfaltspflichtengesetz – LkSG), Esbit is not subject to the obligations under the LkSG and is therefore not required to establish the complaints procedure provided for in Section 8 LkSG. Nevertheless, we would like to provide an opportunity to submit reports to us in connection with the LkSG, i.e. concerning human rights-related or environmental risks or violations within our own business operations and/or our supply chain (direct and indirect suppliers). We expressly point out that this is neither an (anonymous) complaints procedure under the LkSG nor a reporting procedure under the German Whistleblower Protection Act (Hinweisgeberschutzgesetz)! Please send any reports to the following email address: Hinweise_LkSG@esbit.de. We will review all reports and, if a violation of the LkSG is subsequently verified, take the necessary action. In all cases, the identity of the reporting person will be anonymized vis-à-vis third parties upon receipt of the report.
