The closure for vacuum flasks has a so-called screw and pouring function. You don't have to twist the closure off the bottle completely to pour the drink. All you need to do is twist it open slightly. Small arrows on the top of the cap show you on which opposite sides the openings are located. This means that less heat escapes through the opening during pouring, which optimises the insulation.
On the go, the closure keeps the vacuum flasks 100 % leak-proof. This is also ensured by a silicone sealing ring that sits above the screw thread. The lid itself is made of plastic and is free from BPA and phthalates.
